More Fun in the Forest

On our next outing we went back to the forest preserve in Willow Springs, we are regulars now and have this hiking thing down. We love hiking in the woods! Mia is not very good at keeping track of her coats so here she is in another fashionable all weather coat.

"Come on guys what's the hold up?"

Mia contemplating life.

DOE!
If you look very closely or if you can zoom in on this picture you will see a a very large deer in the middle of the path at the top of the photo - Mia alerted us to this fact way before we ever saw her. The doe stayed in the middle of the path until we got very close and then ran into the woods. Mia just sniffed the path and kept going to the next good smell.

Millie mimics a Pointer by pointing to the car.

We love hiking in the woods with our friends.

Wanna join us sometime?
Mia is available for a foster home and is currently looking for a forever home, if you are interested please call or email Susan at 773-512-1053 or email her at sarrobin@sbcglobal.net.

A Few of Mia's Favorite Things

This week we went back to the forest preserve but took a different path and enjoyed a two hour hike. Good thing Millie knows how to find the car - no matter where we are...

A great time was had by all but especially Mia because she was surrounded by a few of her favorite things:

  • Her newest doggie coat by Fido Fleece

  • Sniffing out small woodland creatures

  • Hanging with her sister Millie in her matching Fido Fleece

  • Her good friend Sharyn

Just one thing she still needs...
